How much does a relocation cost?
All relocations are different but as a general rule budget for £100-£150 per person.  You may also need to budget for someone to manage the whole process, if it's your own staff it could amount to considerable costs in terms of time and have a direct effect on your business.
Do not underestimate the amount of time you could lose by trying to manage this internally.
There is never a good time to have a relocation and they are often not budgeted for appropriately, our main advice is to not underestimate your relocation and always use properly trained and vetted contractors.

Why Do I need Workplace Connections?

More importantly we are independent and we won't try to sell you something you don't need.

If I need new Furniture why don't we just speak to our local dealer.
Good dealers are very important and Workplace Connections wish to work with good dealers on your behalf. The problem is getting the right dealer and one who will service your day 2 requirements well.
Dealers will normally only offer a small selection of products. As Workplace Connections is not tied to any dealer, we can offer a greater selection but more importantly ensure you get the best discounts available as we have been involved in procurement of furniture for over 20 Years.

How much will it cost to use Workplace Connections?
We have low overheads and our fees are considerably less than Relocation Consultants or using Architects and interior designers to specify Furniture.
We are happy to work with your Architects or Interior Designers on the furniture specification to ensure continuity but more importantly stay within your budget.
Depending on the project we can often save our clients more than what our fees are.

When would be the best time to contact Workplace connections?
Whether an office removal, internal relocation or purchase of office furniture the sooner the better. This will ensure you do not waste time and money getting wrong or poor quality advice. Let Workplace Connections be your one point of contact and manage everything, guiding you and your staff through the process.

How long does a move take to plan?
Most removals will be done out of core hours or over a weekend or holiday period. This is to avoid your business downtime or if unavoidable minimise the impact on your business.
Often the focus is on the physical removal but we focus on the parts before and after relocation as well as the physical relocation. Planning is key to any successful office move and sufficient planning time should to be allowed.
We can help with planning your move timetable as many set unrealistic timescales which often result in problems, stress and additional expense.
We will normally be on site during your relocation to ensure everything goes to plan.

What about IT?
We will work with your IT people or if you don't have any, we can appoint someone appropriate to look after this for you. We will be the main point of contact and project manage everything to ensure everyone is focussed on the project goal.  We will ensure your IT is fully insured during the relocation and will help advise you on contingency planning.
